This journal is pretty special as I made the bookcloth with fabric I was given a long time ago in Thailand. I was a Rotary Exchange Student living in Uttaradit, Thailand, for a whole year. During that time I was asked to teach a young girl English. Her parents owned the only fabric store in the town and I was allowed to select fabric in return for the lessons. This pink has never been made up into anything so I decided to sneak a little for the journal cover. I hope someone enjoys drawing in this book as much as I enjoyed the memories of the source of the fabric!
